Celebrate Your Body: Artistic Boudoir with a Wet Look

I wanted to create some images at my Nashville boudoir studio that included a “wet look” that wasn’t the traditional boudoir lingerie or white t-shirts sort of thing (nothing wrong with those, just not what I was aiming for here!) but instead was reminiscent of carved marble figures with flowing fabric. And my goodness – we made that happen!

We started off with dry fabric for a few looks first, then soaked all the fabric in water and draped it on. I am so in love with the art this stunning human and I were able to create together!

And do you know why this session happened? Simply because we wanted to create art and celebrate how amazing the female form is – how strong AND soft it is, how powerful and flowing that divine feminine energy is.

Boudoir isn’t just about pretty pictures (though trust me, you’ll look stunning). It’s about stepping into your confidence, embracing your body, and seeing yourself the way the world already does—strong, beautiful, and completely worthy.

We spend so much time lifting others up, but when do we take a moment to do the same for ourselves? This is your reminder: you and your body deserve to be celebrated, exactly as you are, right now. Let’s create art together.
