A Calm, Joyful, and Magical Celebration | Jess + Chris’s Wedding Day

Some wedding days just feel different — like the whole world slows down so you can soak up every second. Jess and Chris’s wedding day was absolutely one of those days.

We started the morning at their home with their sweet dog Tibby, and I have to say — more wedding days should start this way!

Getting to capture Jess and Chris with their adorable pup made everything feel even more personal and special. (Plus, Tibby 100% stole the show — as she should!) 🐾

Afterward, we headed down the street to their local (beautifully inclusive) East Nashville church, where they said “I do” in front of their closest family and friends.

The room was full of so much love and support — it was impossible not to get caught up in the emotions. Jess and Chris wrote their own vows, weaving in sweet moments, inside jokes, and even a hilarious nod to Tibby’s… legendary toots. 😂 It was such a perfect reflection of who they are together: full of heart, laughter, and love.

The celebration continued at Butcher and Bee, where the vibe was relaxed, joyful, and so full of connection.

I loved the thoughtful details they included — especially the book-themed place cards and centerpieces, a sweet nod to their shared love of stories.

Throughout the day, it was clear how much Jess and Chris love not just each other, but their whole community.

Every moment — every hug, every laugh, every happy tear — was a reminder of the kind of people they are and the world they’ve built together.

Jess and Chris, thank you for letting me be part of such a beautiful day. I’m so excited for all the adventures ahead for you (and Tibby!) 💛
